Here are some of the basic things all of our clientele should know:
-USUAL Business hours are 8AM-8PM Monday Through Friday
-We are available at special rates 24/7/365
-We provide services both on-site and remotely
-ANY ON-SITE visit starts at $100 whether it takes 5 minutes or a few hours
-ANY remote support is a negotiated rate with rates starting as low as $50/hr
-ANY phone or remote support up to 15 minutes is subject to a call charge rate. We will help out as often as possible for little to no charge. (for calls under 15 minutes)
-Client security, privacy, and customer service are at the core of our values
-Will and can travel anywhere within the continental United States
-Standard hourly rate is $100/hr. In certain situations this rate may be negotiable, but usually the technician will recommend that the job be bid on a per job basis rather than an hourly basis (which usually works out in the client's favor).
-Emergency rate during normal business hours is $200/hr and during non normal hours is the same ($200/hr)
-Depending on the case load, the emergency may be addressed before other clients at the base rate. If all technicians are currently on-site and working with a client. the first available technician will arrive on-site ASAP. Many times clients' issues in emergent situations may be able to resolved by phone or remotely by other means. In this case the emergency rate may be reduced depending on case load.
-All unscheduled emergency services between 8pm-8am will always be charged the emergency rate of $200/hr unless the emergency incurred by the client can somehow be construed as created by the technician.
-Unless scheduled in 48 hr advance (due to scheduling constraints , emergency rates apply all weekends/National Holidays from 8PM-8AM M-F and through Fri8PM-Mon8AM)
-The business is run generally on a FIFO policy (First to Call gets work completed first and is "First Out") The exception to this applies mainly to commercial entities that are literally losing money every minute that their business is down.
-Although we will always strive to provide the most cost efficient solutions, sometimes it is in both Beat The Geek's best interest and the client's best interest to purchase and install new hardware throughout the job-site.
-We can't guarantee that our prices will never be beat, but we can guarantee that the amount of customer service we provide, the big picture solutions we design, and our other guarantees that we offer will more than make up for the slight cost difference that the client may encounter.
-All work performed on any job-site is guaranteed for at least 30 days if not longer depending on the situation. This guarantee applies only to services employed by the client and provided by Beat The Geek. As it is inherent in the IT business hardware failure is not a rare phenomenon, so if the client decides to add devices to the network, extend the network coverage, or increase network bandwidth, these services will be subject to additional fees and could void any warranty.
